Dr. Namrata Patel is the Principal Researcher and Evaluator at RSI. With more than 15+ years of experience working in the education research field and partnering with Pre-K-12 schools, 2- and 4-year colleges, foundations, and nonprofits to help improve their programs and systems, Namrata has seen the power of research and evaluation when it is done in authentic partnership.

In her previous experiences, Namrata has worked at several research and evaluation firms and a grant-making organization (see her LinkedIn profile for details). Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: students and communities that are historically underserved and under resourced; educator effectiveness; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); college readiness; and social identity.

Today, in addition to leading RSI, Namrata also teaches Research Methods in Psychology at a California community college and enjoys being a wife and mom.
