ABOUT

Hi, I'm Namrata!
I'm an education evaluator and researcher who is passionate about using data to help people make decisions about their programs. I believe that when research is done well, it can help people improve their programs, demonstrate the impact of their work, and ultimately create the social impact they envision. I have spent more than 13 years working in the education research field and have partnered with Pre-K-12 schools, 2- and 4-year colleges, foundations, and nonprofits to help improve their programs and systems. I love what I do and I'm here to support you in the work that you love!
Other things I love?
Spending time with my husband, daughter, and cat; testing out new recipes; and going to plays and stand-up comedy shows.

Why Education Research?
I immigrated to the United States when I was seven years old. I didn't speak English and although I had excelled in school in India, I struggled after moving. I was lucky to have amazing teachers, programs, and family members who helped me thrive in school and life. My experiences and support systems instilled in me a passion to improve education experiences for students, teachers, administrators, and families so they can also excel in their endeavors.

Why a Peacock?
My Indian heritage is an important aspect of my identity (ask me about my research in social identity). The peacock is the national bird of India and is prominent throughout the country's cultural history. The bright colors and grace of a peacock made it an obvious choice to represent my company.
